It's been a whole year since I've posted. Funny how much can happen in that amount of time. I was actually thinking about just shutting this LJ down, but I suppose a yearly update might be "okay." ;)
I really can't sum everything up though. I'm working for Chi Alpha Campus Ministries still, still living in the Chi Alpha house, and I'm picking up another job to help pay the bills & student loans. Life is busy but peaceful.
I was reading some old posts and it was a bit depressing. I spent so much time trying to learn who I was/am, so much time trying to learn how to be a good boyfriend (and eventually husband), and what I really needed to be doing was to focus more on God. Lo and behold, when I finally do I learn more about myself and oh-so-many other things in just a couple of months than during the whole seven years before that. Ah well, what's done is done. I hope you guys are doing alright, those that I haven't heard from in a year!
If you're interested in catching up, the best way would probably be to look up Christopher Scrivner on Facebook. I'm the one that "glows" in the dark. I'm not a huge fan of FB, but we have a lot of students who are big on it, so it's a good way to get a hold of people.
Well. I have to get cleaned up to get somewhere. See ya next year maybe!

I have no idea how long ago I last posted (didn't think to check the timestamp), but I'm finally re-hausted. As a bit of an update, I'm just getting over a cold that I picked up on the way out of Jamaica--City of Refuge in Content Gap again--and waiting on paperwork to go through so I can start work as a staff member at Chi Alpha Campus Ministry here in Columbia, MO. Basically, that means I'll be continuing to do most of the stuff I've been doing on leadership, but I'll also be directing our international student ministry and playing bass occasionally in the worship band. Which'll be interesting, 'cause I don't play bass.
More as it's relevant =)
Peace be wit'cha... and pictures!

That profile pic couldn't be farther from the truth. Since then I've been Jack Sparrow

...then clean shaven, then bearded, then mutton-chopped

...and am now more bearded than ever before.

Even more bearded than after Jamaica last spring. Much to Christian's chagrin. (Heh.)

Hey hey. Just got into the LA area (Torrence) about an hour ago. Lot to talk about, but I'll save that for when I've got pics and video uploaded. Not dead yet, haven't been mugged, am sunburned from beach, drinking plenty of non-sea water. More later, gettin' ready to head out to chill with Winston, Tim, an' everybody.
Peace =)
